joined the music faculty at the University of Lethbridge (UofL) in Alberta, Canada in 2006. He is a charter member of the U of L piano trio Trio Amaranth and serves as coordinator of the string program at the UofL Music Conservatory.
Tido has performed repeatedly in Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Austria, Canada and throughout the US. Prior to his appointment at the University of Lethbridge he was Assistant Professor of Cello at Hardin-Simmons University and principal cellist of the Abilene Philharmonic Orchestra. He teaches every summer at String Crossings camp at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and has been a member of the New Hampshire Music Festival Orchestra since 2000.
